ศาลสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชุมชนชาววัดอรุณ เป็นอีกหนึ่งศาลสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ที่เกิดขึ้นจากพี่น้องชุมชนชาววัดอรุณร่วมใจศรัทธาในสำนึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ ที่องค์พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช ได้ทรงกอบกู้เอกราชให้แก่แผ่นดินไทย ทรงขับไล่ข้าศึกศัตรูออกจากแผ่นดินไทยแล้วตั้งกรุงธนบุรีเป็นราชธานีใหม่

ชุมชนชาววัดอรุณ โดย คุณวิทย์ วัดอรุณ(อัครวิทย์ รัตนประสิทธิ์) คุณโต วัดอรุณ(วันชัย ลาภวิไลพงศ์) ร่วมกับคณะสงฆ์วัดอรุณราชวราราม โดยพระเดชพระคุณหลวงพ่อ พระธรรมรัตนดิลก กรรมการมหาเถรสมาคม เจ้าคณภาค๙ เจ้าอาวาสวัดอรุณราชวราราม จึงพร้อมใจกันจัดสร้างพระบรมรูปสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชุมชนชาววัดอรุณ

มีพิธีเททองหล่อพระรูปพร้อมจัดสร้าง เหรียญสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชาววัดอรุณ ณ วัดบางแวก ภาษีเจริญ กรุงเทพ ขึ้นเมื่อวันพุทธที่ 22 เมษายน 2558 และจัดให้มีพิธีบวงสรวงสมโภชเบิกพระเนตรอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ถูกต้องตามประเพณีโบราณทุกประการ ณ พระอุโบสถน้อย วัดอรุณราชวราราม 

โดยมีพระเดชพระคุณหลวงพ่อ พระธรรมรัตนดิลก กรรมการมหาเถรสมาคม เจ้าคณภาค๙เจ้าอาวาสวัดอรุณราชวราราม เป็นประธานในพิธีฝ่ายสงฆ์ เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 4 กรกฎาคม 2558 แล้วจัดริ้วขบวนแห่อัญเชิญองค์พระรูปสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชาววัดอรุณ ออกจากวัดอรุณราชวรารามอย่างยิ่งใหญ่สมพระเกียรติในพระองค์ท่าน

เพื่อมาประดิษฐาน ณ ศาลสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชาววัดอรุณ ปากซอยวังเดิม 3 ถนนวังเดิม แขวงวัดอรุณ เขตบางกอกใหญ่ กรุงเทพมหานคร ในวันเดียวกัน เพื่อเป็นสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์บำรุงขวัญแก่ชาวบ้านพ่อค้าแม่ค้าประชาชนที่ผ่านไปมา ซึ่งสามารถสักการะได้ตลอด ๒๔ ชั่วโมง 

ตั้งแต่การเริ่มสร้างพระบรมรูปสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชุมชนชาววัดอรุณ ตลอดจนการจัดพิธีมหาพุทธาเทวาภิเษก พระบรมรูปสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชุมชนชาววัดอรุณ และเหรียญสมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชชาววัดอรุณ รุ่นแรกปี 2558 และรุ่นกรุงธนบุรี ปี2561 ก็ปรากฏปาฏิหาริย์สืบมาโดยตลอด
